1. What makes Maine Coons unique?

Maine Coons are known for their large size, luxurious fur, friendly personalities, and dog-like loyalty. They are intelligent, playful, and adapt well to families, other pets, and various home environments. 


2. How big do Maine Coons get?

Maine Coons are one of the largest domesticated cat breeds. on average males weigh 15-25 pounds, while females range from 10-15 pounds. They mature slowly, taking up to 4-5 years to reach full size. 


3. How much do your Maine Coon kittens cost?

Our Maine Coon kittens are currently priced based on factors such as age, gender, markings, and color. Starting in spring 2025, all upcoming litters will be priced between $2200 - $2500.


Please note that we will be gradually adjusting our prices with subsequent litters to better meet the value standard of our breeding program and ensure the continued health and well-being of our cats.

4. What is a polydactyl Maine Coon?

Polydactyl Maine Coons have extra toes due to a natural genetic trait. This gives them a unique, mitten-like appearance and sometimes enhances their balance and dexterity. This trait was historically common in Maine Coons and does not affect their health or mobility. 


We have both polydactyl (poly) and non-polydactyl (non-poly) Maine Coons in our breeding program. 


5. What colors and patterns do you offer?

Maine Coons come in a variety of colors and patterns, including tabby, solid, bi-color, smoke, and tortie. If you're looking for a specific color, feel free to ask about our upcoming litters. 


6. Are your kittens raised in a home environment?

Yes! Our kittens are raised inside our family home, ensuring they are well-socialized, exposed to everyday household activities, and accustomed to human interaction (including our rambunctious kiddos) before going to their new families. 


7. Do Maine Coons require special care?

Maine Coons have thick, semi-long fur that benefits from regular brushing (2-3 times per week) to prevent tangles. They also enjoy interactive play regularly and benefit from a high-quality, protein-rich diet. 


8. What is CFF (Cat Fanciers’ Federation)?

The Cat Fanciers’ Federation (CFF) is one of the oldest and most respected cat registries in the U.S., dedicated to promoting responsible breeding and cat welfare. It recognizes Maine Coons as a natural breed with a rich history. 


9. What is TICA (The International Cat Association)?

TICA (The International Cat Association) is one of the largest worldwide cat registries. It promotes ethical breeding and cat shows while recognizing Maine Coons as a prestigious breed. Many top-quality breeders register their cats with TICA for official pedigree tracking. 


10. What food do you recommend for Maine Coons?

We recommend a high-protein diet for proper growth and development. Our kittens eat:

  • Purina ONE High Protein Kitten Formula (dry food)
  • Nulo Freestyle Grain-Free Minced (wet food)

A protein-rich diet supports their large size and active nature.


11. What do your kittens come with?

12. Do you offer transportation or delivery?

Yes! We are willing to drive to deliver your kitten for $1 per mile, subject to availability. We currently do not fly our kittens anywhere.


13. Do you offer breeding rights?

Our kittens are sold as pets only unless otherwise agreed upon. If you’re a responsible breeder seeking a breeding-quality kitten, please contact us for more details. Breeding-quality kittens are priced significantly higher than pet-only kittens. 


14. Do Maine Coons get along with other pets?

 Yes! Maine Coons are known for their friendly and sociable nature. They generally get along well with other cats, dogs, and even children when properly introduced. 


15. How do I reserve a kitten?

To begin the process you can start by filling out our Kitten Application! We do our best to respond within 48hrs to every application we receive.


Once you have chosen your new beloved kitten, you will have the option to place a non-refundable deposit to reserve them until they are ready to go to their new home.


16. At what age do kittens go home?

Kittens are ready for their new homes at 12-14 weeks old, allowing them crucial time with their mother and littermates for proper socialization and development.

Before scheduling pickup, ensure you have a vet appointment within 48 hours of bringing your kitten home and confirm that your spay/neuter appointments are scheduled for your new furry companion.


17. Can I visit before choosing a kitten?

We allow visits by appointment only after the kittens have had their first vaccinations. Virtual meetings are also available and encouraged!
